The Original Donut Factory

My family and I were given the chance to try out The Original Donut Factory, The Perfect mini donut Maker! This was a fun activity for the kids and I to do the other night as our dessert since we have breakfast for dinner!

The Donuts were so easy to make and they tasted great. We used the recipe that came in the instruction booklet. A very simple recipe but I changed it a bit because I did not have nutmeg so we used cinnamon in the batter instead. While mixing your batter plug in the Donut Maker so it can heat up.

After you make the batter its so easy to make your donuts! Put spoonfuls of batter into the donut circles, and make sure not to overfill them.

Close the lid and wait 5 minutes and you have some Yummy looking donuts!

Remove Donuts (be careful as the donut maker will be hot) and dip the donut in melted butter and then in a cinnamon sugar mix and you have yourself some really yummy donuts!

1 batch of donut batter make 36 mini donuts! And to cook them all only took 30 minutes! My kids loved being able to dip the donut in the butter and the cinnamon sugar mixture and make their own donuts. These donuts did not last long in this house! It was a special treat for the kids so they were excited and then hubby got a taste of them and that was the end of the donuts haha.

I love the Ion USB Cassette Deck. I know I'm aging myself here, but I've got a rocking cassette tape collection and I'd love to be able to convert alot of the songs to mp3's to add to my ipod!
