So as I have mentioned we are in the market for new living room furniture, hubby and I still can not agree on what type of recliner we can both enjoy and with the kiddos we need more then just recliners so we are still on the hunt for living room furniture. So now we are looking at sofas, with three kiddos we need something that will last, that will stand up to the kid wear and tear of sticky fingers and leaks from sippy cups, along with being comfortable for hubby and I to sit and watch a movie on together.
We have talked about weather a fabric or a leather sofa would be best. There are many pros to having leather since it will not stain easily and things will wipe off easily. The only downside we have found is that when it is hot out there are times that the heat could make us sticky and sitting on a leather sofa we could stick to it and on chilly days leather can be a bit chilly especially in the morning when you first wake up. Easy fixes though by adding a blanket when we are sitting on it.
One thing I have always wanted was a sectional sofa, seriously i love them. But when being in the military it is hard to have sectionals. You never know what the next house you live in will be like and if the set up of the house will be able to accommodate a sectional or not. With moving (hopefully) soon we are still in the same spot as to not knowing what our living room will be like space wise. But I was able to find this leather sectional that comes apart and would be easy to move around a room no matter what the space was!
While white is not a color I would choose with having my 3 kids being the ones that would be sitting on it, I was happy to find a sectional that could be changed around to whatever house we end up in. So it looks like I may be able to have the sectional I have wanted to have forever, as long as I can convince hubby to let me pick one out:)
