Now normally I do not vent, however I am to the point where I could just about scream. I called Graco to get the replacement part for our spare carseat back in February 2010, yes over a year ago! We needed a new foam, styrofoam, the recall repair kit and the buttons for installing the new foam, So far I have recieved 2 different parts for strollers(not sure how that happens when I tell them I have a carseat but yea), 2 broken stryofoams, 1 foam(so part of what I needed) and had 4 times them tell me they are sending it and it never shows up. Just 2 weeks ago I called them and they said they would expedite it and I would recieve it with in 2-3 business days, well it is still not here yet, I have now gone over a year of not being able to use a carseat that I paid good money for and it is not like I can just use it for an extra year because carseats expire! I am thankful it is not our main carseat, but seriously what would someone do if it WAS one of their main carseats?
I really do try not to bad talk companies, but my frustrations with Graco right now are seriously pushing my buttons I think I have been patient long enough, I even understand that I moved back in October so the one they sent out then may have gotten lost in the mail because we moved. But a year seems just a bit rediculous to me. Im going to be calling them again today to see where my parts are.
Have you ever expierenced this type of thing when contacting a company for a replacement part?
