While you all know I rave about how much I LOVE New Jersey there is one downfall to living where we live right now, the closest Starbucks is 30 minutes away. When I lived in Pennsylvania there was one about 15 minutes from where we lived, and while I did not go there very often it was nice to have the chance to go in and spoil myself once in a while with a Venti Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha. Hubby does bring me home the occasional warm yummy goodness on his way home from work but it still is not the same.
I recently got a Keurig for Mother’s Day from hubby and I have been snagging the free samples of K-Cups that have been out testing out what coffee I like the best and of course I have been wanting to try the Starbucks coffee too, even though they do not have my favorite drink in a K-Cup version they do have a lot of great flavors to pick from. I was sent Pikes Place Roast, Veranda Blend Blonde, and Sumatra Dark Roast K-Cups to try. I had never had the Starbucks K-Cups and I was surprised when I enjoyed the Sumatra the most, because I am not a dark coffee drinker normally and when I added my French Vanilla creamer to it is was delicious and I love having a cup when I wake up in the morning, it is a great way to start my day! The Pike Roast is my favorite for when I need a mid day cup of coffee (which is fairly often), it is not to strong but it is full of flavor. The Veranda blend was a very light tasting flavor (not light in flavor, it had a good flavor but light as far as coffee strength flavor), which I enjoyed. Even though I have favorite times to drink each flavor I must admit that I do rotate and drink them all day long. While the K-Cups are not of my favorite Starbucks drink (I do hope eventually they make a Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha K-Cup) I am loving being able to fill my house with the lovely smell of Starbucks coffee and having a yummy cup of coffee in just a few minutes!
You can purchase Starbucks K-Cups at your local Starbucks, in grocery stores and online at places like Amazon
