If you are an active duty Military family then you will want to get in on The Heroes at Home Wish Registry from Sears .When Tom was active duty and we were broker then broke because of his deployment this saved Christmas (literally and thankfully we only have 1 child at the time). Registration is limited and opens on August 29 at 2pm EST. Registration does fill up quickly so I will post a reminder but mark your calendars.
If you are unfamiliar with Sears Heroes at Home program it is a program that is done by Sears each year to help Military families out during the holidays by providing them gift cards to use at Sears. It works by Sears and Sears customers donating money to the program and then Sears evenly splits the amount that is donated among all those who have registered. It is an amazing program and if you have the means to donate even just a little bit it means the world to those who get the gift cards. 100% of the donations go to military families.
This program is such a great program and can really make the difference in if a Military family will have a Christmas or not. I know personally how it helped us out, I was able to get some Christmas decorations (which since it was our first christmas in our own house we didn’t have any), and I was able to get McKenzie gifts as well.
Head on over here to get more information and if you want to donate you can too!
