This past weekend we went to see DreamWorks newest movie Abominable in theaters and I am going to tell you not only is the movie amazing but you HAVE to see it in 4DX. This was my first 4DX movie and I thought it was going to be similar to the 3-D but WOW! This new state of the art technology takes movie watching to a whole new level! Don’t worry I will fill you in more as we keep going in this post about the Abominable movie!

Super Adorable Abominable snowman!
Oh hello there is an a super adorable creature that will steal your heart! The way DreamWorks creative this abominable snowman just makes it hard for you not to love this character instantly. Ok, so you might not be able to avoid it because he is not only soft, cuddly and a big ball of fluff but super fun and hilarious too!
Perfect Family Movie!
This truly is a family movie. It is not just a kids movie that parents reluctantly take their kids to see. I enjoyed the movie just as much as my kids did! The Abominable movie is a a heartwarming story that will have you laughing and crying on the same time.
It was so cute, and I can guarantee you that we will be purchasing this as soon as it comes out on digital and Blu-ray! I will also admit that it is going to be a little tough to wait that long to see it again!
You are Fully Immersed in the movie!
The theater seats move like you are on a ride!
I think everyone needs to see Abominable in 4DX because there is so much more fun added then just watching a movie. Not that I don’t like “just watching a movie” but this added features totally took the movie viewing experience from amazing to over the top!
The state of the art seats make it so you really feel like you are running right along side the characters. As they make their way through the city, the mountains and more to to get Abominable back home you are RIGHT there with them!
The kids were squealing with excitement every time the seats moved up, down and jittering around. Ok, so yes I might have enjoyed it just as much as them too. LOL! But seriously it was like being on a ride while watching a movie. Combing 2 awesome things into one fully immersed experience!
Special Affects!
So as much as we loved that the movie viewing was like on a ride we also got to be fully submersed in the movie with in the theater special affects!
When the yeti runs thru the windy storms for example you FEEL the stormy winds! It really takes watching a movie to a whole other level you just can’t help but giggle and squeal with every new immersive activity that goes on.
Amazing Sound!
So yes all movies have sound, but the 4DX theater sound was over the top amazing! One of the main characters was really into music and whenever there was music not only could you hear it but you could really feel her emotions as she was playing the music. Seriously it was like being right there with her! Amazing!
I am going to say that I highly suggest making that splurge to the 4DX for this movie when you go to see it! It is truly an immersive experience and it takes the whole movie experience a whole new level.
