So a few days ago, I posted a D.I.Y. post describing some of the things I have done myself in order to save money. I had a great moment this week when an idea popped into my head! Last week Michael’s had an amazing sale on their frames so I picked some up and grabbed some matting for next to nothing on their clearance rack. My kids LOVE Dr. Seuss and we ended up with some doubled of some of his books so this is what resulted from my creative moment:
They look amazing on my kid’s walls and we have a permanent memory of some of their favorite stories! And, if you include the price of the books (which I didn’t buy but dug out of their current collection), it came out to less then $10 a picture! So if your kids have any books that are doubles or they might have outgrown, this is a great way to up-cycle them!
