We recently received the game Go Fish! to review from EBeanstalk. We had two very different reactions from my older two children. My 3 year old loved it, it was very simple for him to remember the rules of the game. All of the cards are shaped like fish and have a different color on the one side with the color word. There are 4 cards of each color. It was very enjoyable for my son and I. My daughter who is 5 had a different opinion of the game. At first she did not even want to play and said it looked boring and after I convinced her to play she told me she was to old for it and only played 2 rounds of picking up the cards with us.
I would recommend this game for 3-4 year old children based on our experience, although your child who is 5 or older may enjoy the game. I think this game would be great to help with teaching children their colors and color words.
