Mark your calendars for Saturday May 4th! It is FREE Comic Book day! My kids love going to FREE Comic book day each year!
FREE Comic Book Day
Every year I take my kids to FREE Comic Book Day. We always have so much fun looking thru all the comic books for them to pick out the one that they want. Most of the time they don’t even make it home before starting to read them! It is such a great way to get the kids reading!
What is FREE Comic Book Day?
Every year, on the first Saturday in May, the comic book industry comes together to give away free comics! The big comic book publishers such as DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Comics, IDW Publishing, BOOM! Studios, Dynamite Entertainment, and Image Comics put out free comics for fans to enjoy at the more than 2,300 local comic shops that participate in Free Comic Book Day.
Every year the series that are offered are different however in the past popular series that participated included Pokemon, Doctor Who, SpongeBob, Riverdale, Overwatch and Star Wars.
All you have to do is head to your local participating store to get yours! Find a participating comic book store near you here.
To save even more money, you can buy discounted gift cards at Raise.com and then use those to pay for your family fun. Raise.com is my FAVORITE place to score discounts on Gift Cards!
