Halloween Lollipops Ingredients
- Butter, for parchment paper
- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon red food coloring
Halloween Lollipops Directions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and butter parchment and set aside. In a medium saucepan combine the sugar, water, corn syrup, and food coloring. Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce heat to medium-high. Insert candy thermometer and continue to boil until temperature reaches 300 degrees which is the hard crack stage. When mixture reaches temperature, immediately remove from heat. Working quickly,using a metal tablespoon spoon the sugar onto the parchment paper. Place the stick into the sugar and twist it so it gets coated. Sprinkle with the candy and allow to cool.
