What to buy After Christmas to Save Money
After Christmas sales are starting just about the day after Christmas each year and it is time to start planning for next Christmas! Here are the top things to look for deals on and get now since they are going to be their cheapest between now and the end of next week. I don’t recommend waiting until the end of next week though, because yes they will have a deeper discount many things sell out pretty quickly. Most stores will have their Holiday stuff marked down to 50% off today and as the week goes on it will drop to 75% off (it all depends on the store when the prices will drop and how fast they will drop it from 50% to 75% off)
Helping Your Holiday Budget : After Christmas Sales, What to buy
- Wrapping Paper – my goal is .50 or less per roll
- Tape
- Gift tags-.25 a pack is my goal price
- Gift bags
- Candles
- Holiday Pencils & Holiday Erasers (I get them and save them to use the following year to make goodie bags for my kids classes at school.) -.50 for 20 holiday pencils/ holiday erasers
- Lights
- Thank you cards
- Holiday decorations
- Holiday Cookie Cutters
Holiday baking goods and candy are good to stock up on as well even though you won’t save most of it for next year you are able to use most of it through out the year 🙂

I usually buy Christmas cards for next year when they go on sale…that way I get then at a lower price, and I also have them ready at Thanksgiving to start mailing out!
