There are always lots of new DS games coming out and I know for me I wish there was more information on the site I was buying it from about the game. So I am excited to share with you 5 of the new games from Nintendo’s new DS game line up. Of course as you know I had to put McKenzie and Logan to work to make sure these 5 games meet the “coolness” and game playing standards for what they think and for each of these 5 games they both agreed these are ones other kids will love (I know tough job they had right 😉 )
All of these games have characters that us parents know about because they were around when we were kids, and I love that my kids are able to play games with characters I know about. While I was not much of a gamer as a kid knowing what my kid is talking about when telling me about a game is something I love as a parent 🙂
- Mario & Luigi: Dream Team: Mario and Luigi embark on the adventure of their dreams in a hilarious action RPG that combines the resort world of Pi’illo Island with the wild landscapes of Luigi’s imagination, where anything can happen. Master two worlds by switching between controlling both brothers when battling in the real world and controlling Mario and an army of Luiginoids in dream-world battles.
- Pokémon X and Pokémon Y: Two all-new Pokémon and past favorites come to life with detailed graphics and intense 3D battles. Become a Pokémon Trainer and set out for adventure in a visually stunning new region filled with new Pokémon to catch, trade, and battle.
- Mario Party: Island Tour: The game features seven different game boards, each with its own set of rules. The game offers 81 new mini-games that test speed, concentration and luck. In addition to the board game elements, players will be able to play mini-games exclusively or try their hands at a 30-floor tower climb, AR Card games and StreetPass battles.
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds: The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is a new game with a new storyline set in world of the Super NES classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. This time, Link has the ability to become a “drawing” and move along dungeon walls. This opens up new ways to explore and solve puzzle elements that give Link access to locations he could not otherwise reach.
