Being homeowners is a lot different then Tom and I imagined it was going to be. Yes of course there are the good things like being able to paint the rooms how I want to, change out different fixtures in the bathrooms to ones that I like, and make the house totally ours with our style, which we could not do when we were renting before. However there are many other things that we did not think about when we were doing the home buying process.
