Here is a post I found while going through old posts, It was an awesome deal on the Healthy Choice meals and you were paid to take them from Acme. This was last June and while my shopping trips are no longer like this (because the stores where I am now do not have these types of sales) and this was done with multiple transaction and rolling catalinas, I wanted to use this to show that even when you are couponing, you do not have to buy garbage, I was able to buy meat, cheese and produce all with overage I got because of my catalinas. I know at times seeing the exteme couponers have loads of junk in their carts that it can come off that you are going to have high totals if you are buying things like meat and produce, but if you have a great store this is not the case and you do not have to be an extreme couponer to get great deals. Now this is a lot of Healthy Choice meals, but we did not keep them all they were given to people who worked at Acme and 4 of my friends and their families, so while yes I did buy a lot my family did not keep it all.

Holy buckets, that is awesome. I don’t think anybody needs to justify what they are buying or why. I am able to donate items to our local foodbank. Items that people are able to use. Although as you say some are not the healthiest they still require a snack item like most of us do. From experience my own children did not get chips, pop, ice cream, candy, etc. because our household budget barely covered what we needed. I wish I would have known and could have figured out this coupon thing years ago to allow us more savings. It would have made my life so much easier. I love seeing women do this, it empowers them to take ahold of their finances, use it for good and pay off debt so much quicker. More power to all of you! Thanks for the site.
