I know the past few months have been a bit crazy here and Tom and I have mentioned my not feeling well. So I wanted to give an update so you are all in the loop. Last December as you know I went to the hospital, then they did tests and I had a colonoscopy (if you ever have to have one, its scary to think about then it actually is, and there was no pain) and a bunch of tests and it was found this spring that I have IBS.
During the last few months I was on meds that were helping it and then I was taken off of them and since there is no real “fix” to IBS it is learning to deal with it and what triggers it ect. Which I am still working on figuring out what exactly the triggers are because so far it has not just been one thing that sets it off. It is so random that pin pointing what to avoid foodwise, or stresswise is not working and so I have the good days and then the days that are just crappy. There are nights I fall asleep as soon as we get the kids to bed and then end up sleeping for 10+ hours and then nights that insomnia hits and I am up for 2 days, its quite “fun”. However thankfully Tom has been helping out a TON and we have great team members here at MidgetMomma.com that help me get you all the hottest deals 🙂
If I find things that actually work for keeping it under control I will be sure to share in case any of you deal with the same. If you have IBS and have tips for things that have helped you, please share them! Any and all advice is welcome 🙂
