When we were in Orlando Florida this past summer one of our stops was to Medieval Times, we have one that is not to far from us at home but we have never been to it. When we were looking at places to visit to give you all the inside scoop we spoke with Medieval Times about us coming to see what all the hype was about and they provided us tickets to check it out.
Medieval Times Orlando Florida, Awesome Entertainment and Great Food!
I have heard many awesome things about Medieval Times but was not exactly sure what all the hype was about but was excited to find out. The kids were excited when I told them it would involve watching knights and eating with their hands.
I want to tell you about the food first, do NOT eat right before you go! I heard the portions are huge so I made sure to eat a small meal around 2 and our show was at 8pm and I could not eat everything they gave us! The food was delicious though, you get chicken that is amazingly seasoned, a huge rib, potato, bread and dessert! Of course you will be using your hands to eat so they do not give you any silverware, but they do provide you plenty of napkins!
While eating you get to enjoy a fun show of knights and take a trip back to when there were kings, queens, princesses and castles. The show is perfect for families, everyone will enjoy the show. The arena is set up into sections and each section has their own knight to cheer on for the show. The kids loved every minute of it, and Logan ended up with a sore throat because he was cheering so loud.
At the end of the show you have the chance to meet the knight you were cheering on, the kids and I got our picture with ours. He was super nice and all of the actors from the show were out in the open area in front of the arena so people could meet them and take pictures with them.
If you are in Orlando, or if you live in an area that has one close to you then I recommend making a visit to there to have a fun filled family night and if you are in Orlando, make sure you add this as one of your places to stop at 🙂
