A big no no that I do, is skip breakfast. I know it is the worst meal of the day to skip (not that skipping a meal is every good) but breakfast is the worst one to skip. No matter how many times I say I am going to eat breakfast I never do. Now granted many mornings involve running around a bit to get kids ready for school or on the days that hubby is awesome and let’s me sleep in I get up and go about my day and still don’t eat for a few hours. It has been this way for as long as I can remember that I would skip breakfast and the only times I have not skipped it was when I was pregnant or when I was working out trying to lose weight. I also blame part of my skipping breakfast on my not liking to drink milk and my boredom of Orange Juice, as that is what I drink normally when I do eat breakfast. So for 2012 I am trying to make the conscious effort to eat breakfast every morning. To help with making my conscious choice to eat breakfast everyday I have decided that having more variety in the house on what to drink with my breakfast might be the key to me wanting to. It is hard for me to change around what to eat while I am running out the door but changing what I drink is easy:)
I recently tried the Tropicana Trop50 Pomegranate Blueberry and LOVE it! Pomegranates are one of my favorite fruits but very difficult to eat since you have to pull the fruit out of the shell and it is time consuming so to get my fix I look for drinks that are made with it:) I drank it with multiple flavors and combinations of bagels with cream cheese, granola bars, toast and fruit and I have yet to find anything that it does not go well with in the morning for breakfast:) Along with eating breakfast, I want to work on losing a few of the baby weight pounds I still have from my youngest (She is going to be 2 in February I really should not have any baby weight left) and so I am going to watch what I eat and what is has in it. It has a full days worth of vitamin C, and it has 50% less sugar and calories then other juice drinks, which is great for watching your calorie intake and for not having as much sugar in your diet. With the multiple flavors Trop50 has if I want a variation of drinks in the morning I can easily change it up:) I think that having this variety is going to help me with skipping breakfast in the morning especially since I am excited to try the other flavors I have not tried yet:)
