Tom and I are always looking for new shows to watch, we like to take time a few nights a week to step away from working and kids and have some down time and for us a TV show is our vice for relaxing.
We aim to find things that are interesting, I have my normal shows like Pretty Little Liars that he deals with watching even though he doesn’t really enjoy the show but finding something that we both find interesting is something we aim for.
A few weeks ago we saw a commercial for the new TV Show Sex Box and it looked like it was going to be pretty interesting. We enjoy shows that are helpful, things like home design shows, where we can get ideas for the house and Sex Box is a groundbreaking, unprecedented and life-changing way for couples in crisis to heal their sexual and emotional issues. While it is not going to help us each week because we don’t have the problems many of the couples that are going to be on the show have, the tips could be helpful to the both of us.
Each week three couples from a wide variety of backgrounds bring their pressing concerns to our expert therapists with hopes of repairing their troubled relationships. While I am sure everyone is not going to relate to every couple the topics that they will be covering could be filled with some really useful information! They bring the couples on to the stage the couples have sex on stage in front of live studio audience in a specially designed chamber – the Sex Box. The Sex Box is private, camera free and sound proof. It allows couples to focus on one another and their needs with no outside distractions. And when they emerge, the truth is shared. The theory behind the Sex Box is based on a revolutionary, scientifically proven concept: In the first 15 minutes after intimacy, the body is flooded with oxytocin and endorphins enabling people to really open up and reveal the root of their problems.
Some of the Topics that will be covered on Sex Box are :
- What to do when passion is slipping from the relationship
- How to overcome trust issues
- Traumatic or life-changing event
- Unrealistic expectations out of your partner
- Lack of support, lack of communication
