I don’t normally post about things that are coming soon but as a parent I love the goal of this new app for kids that sharing it was important to me. The kids will soon be home for summer break, yes I know it sounds completely crazy to be saying that with feet of snow in the backyard and it only being February but come May/June the kiddos will be home and the vicious cycle of “I’m bored” starts. This year I am taking a different approach to keeping the boredom down and I am starting now with my planning and finding things that are going to be educational stimulating and fun for the kids for our mornings so I can work with them home and they are not bored asking me 100 times when they are going to get to go do something.
As much as I hate to admit it, our world is going digital and our children will have more technology in their everyday lives then I ever did, and that means that making sure my kids are getting the best I can give them in all areas is important. This new app will allow them to rock their math, learn more and also continue growing their use of technology (that is never going to go anywhere).
A new app is set to launch soon called SkyMath, as much as I don’t like to admit it my kids are very skilled on the ipad, I am pretty sure they know more of its functions then I do and so I love the idea that SkyMath has to get the kids in the spot they know and use that as a way to educate them too.
SkyMath is a new math program that takes the guesswork out of learning on the iPad. For the first time, a child, grades K-5, can get personalized recommendations for the best apps and videos. Kids will want to do SkyMath, and parents can track what is actually being learned from time on the iPad.
