Last month our family headed to Disney World in Orlando Florida for our first ever family vacation that really was the most magical vacation I could have imagined, even with me having to spend part of our time there working while attending the Disney Social Media Moms Conference. (You can read about the start of our Magical Disney Vacation here)
The night we arrived I headed off to a quick welcome to the conference event with a few speakers while my mom and Tom took the kids on a walk through Epcot and checked out some of the rides. Afterward they met me where I was for dinner and then the magic started. We all got the chance to meet and take pictures with some of the Disney Characters – the look of joy on my kids faces was enough to make me melt right then and there and just cry (thank fully I was able to keep my composure and soak in all the smiles of my children). As you can see in the pictures all of us were over taken by the Disney Magic – myself, Tom, my mom, the kids… all of us!
I was also quite shocked at my littlest one- She is normally freaked out by costumes and with this there was no fear seeing her favorite chracters lives, right in front of her.
We met Wreck-It- Ralph
Mr. Incredible
Mrs. Incredible
Terk from Tarzan
And then it was time for us to head on outside to the Epcot Fireworks show – Ah-mazing! Seriously I was in awe by the end of it, and even though it was late at night my kids were in amazing moods and watched the fireworks excitedly (Which they have seen them before and never really get into them like they did with the ones we saw at Epcot).
After the fireworks we headed back to our hotel – We spent the first 3 days of our stay at the Contemporary Resort on the Disney Property. Navigating the transportation back to the hotel was easy and the monorail made it super quick.
Keep on the look out for more posts about our trip as I have a lot more to share with all of you 🙂
Disclaimer: I was invited to the Disney Social Media Moms Conference. I paid a conference fee which included park tickets, lodging and some meals.
