So the school year ends in 1.5 days and while I have not heard from the school about the issues at hand, I have also not heard McKenzie come home complaining about them. Which for me is a good thing. While I am a bit upset that I have not been kept in the loop as to how things were being handled it appears that my trip to the Superintendent did what needed to be done.
I have not heard any complaints from McKenzie about the girl bullying her (I have asked with out pushing the issue, just a general asking of how her day was and everything has been good so far) and when it comes to the teacher issue I did not expect to hear back on that one as I am a parent and not with in the school’s administration to know about “punishments” per say when it pertains to teachers.
We have 1.5 days left of school left and McKenzie seeming to be in a much better mood when coming home from school I am not going to push the issues, but when the next school year starts I am going to be eyes wide open, making sure things stay on the path of being good for her. I will be sending a letter to the school requesting that the girl McKenzie has had issues with all year long is not in her class next year to avoid any issues that we have had this year as a precaution and in hopes that when we start school next year it is is with a good start and none of the bad from this year follows her.
I appreciate all of the kind words and message you all have sent me during this school year when I wanted to rip my hair out with all of it 🙂
