So I have been working on getting quality cookware in my house for quite some time now, it has taken about 7 years but we are almost completely done with having a kitchen filled with quality cookware (here is to hoping that it all lasts a very very long time). Hubby and I were broker then broke when we got married so we got the cheapest cookware that we could find and then ended up replacing it a few times (which looking back I wish I had just saved my money for a few months and bought good stuff when the original stuff needed to be replaced). One thing that I never did get is a quality wok, we had one that was hardly ok and we had a lot of issues with things sticking to it even with nonstick spray, so I used my skillet. Honestly I thought really what do I need it for when I have a skillet but now that we have the Ozeri Green Earth Wok cooking things like fried rice and stir fry are sooo much easier. Not only does it not stick to the pan in my Green Earth Wok, but I don’t have issues with it over flowing when I am trying to stir it!
When I opened the box and saw the wok I knew what the first thing I was going to make in it was…Fried Rice! And oh was it so much easier using a wok then using my skillet. The rice browned evenly, stirring the veggies, and rice together was easier and it did not fall out of the wok all over the stove! Nothing stuck to the bottom of the wok, and I didn’t even add any nonstick spray!
The only thing that I would change is that it would come in red to match my kitchen 😉
