One thing I love is going to see live shows with the kids, and while sometimes they can be pricey that is part of why I coupon and find deals on other things! Saving money in places I can frees up money for me to take the kids to fun activities! It is important to hubby and I that our kids get to have fun and new experiences even while we are on a budget.
We were given the opportunity to see Max and Ruby Live: Bunny Party in Wilkes Barre, Pa last week and while I was a bit unsure if my older 2 children would enjoy it or not I knew that my 21 month old would love it! It turns out that all 3 of my children loved it and all had a blast!
The show was about an hour long, and they have an intermission. Now you might be wondering why I would mention that but with a 21 month old it was well welcomed! After sitting for about 30 minutes my youngest needed to stretch her legs and then once she did we were good to finish watching. I wish all live shows did this it really makes it more enjoyable when little kids are able to get up and walk around for a few minutes:)
The show is all about Max and Ruby having a party with a surprise guest(I won’t spoil it and tell you who the guest is in case you are going to go see it). Of course for a party you must head to the store and get a gift. Which my youngest loved the dancing robot at the store! At the store there are many gifts to choose from, but one special gift they can’t buy and that is the ballerina. which my 6 year old intently watched dance around the stage and then told me that when she grows up she wants to be a ballerina!
Setting up for the party of course Max and Ruby had to get all the guests together, and as with all siblings they did not agree on who all the guests should be so when Ruby was off getting ready for the Party Max had his own ideas on bringing guests to the party:) After all set and done they all had a blast at the Bunny party and agreed that all the guests should be there:)
All in all my kids loved it and had a blast! Here are some more pictures from the show and my kids having a blast dancing (well except for my son since he refused to have his picture taken)
