{Review} Ninja Turtles-The Next Mutation Vol. 1 DVD

Ahh this brings back fond memories. When I was growing up I was a Teenage Mutant Turtles fanatic. I watched all three movies. I was glued to the animate series. I got countless action figures and toys of the turtles. I loved the games for Nintendo and Super Nintendo. So when I saw this come I was ecstatic. This new series basically follows the turtles into the next stage of their lives. The Shredder is gone and is replaced by a new villain. He is called Dragon Lord. He is just as evil as the Shredder. (Though no one can replace the Shredder in my book). He has henchmen that resemble the foot soldiers the Shredder had only these are dragons with ninja moves! Of course you have the turtles. Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, and a new turtle named Venus De Milo. She is a new addition and something to add a new bit of flavor to the series. You also have their long time master Splinter. He is a rat of course. This DVD comes with the complete first season which encompasses 13 episodes. There are no bonus features which is a little disappointing but not enough for me to not recommend this. If you are looking to introduce your children to the turtles this is the perfect DVD to do that. Go practice your ninja moves and pick up this DVD today!!
