Well, my story of how I got to the premiere of War Horse is no where near as exciting as 14 other bloggers who went on the trip as well, but I am going to share it with you any way along with their adventure that they had of running through the streets on New York all dolled up:)
There were 2 shuttles, ours was late and so the 6 of us and Marshall (the awesome Disney PR rep that was with us on the trip ) originally thought we would be the ones that were late and in the end our late van made us the lucky ones that night. After convincing the driver of the shuttle that he should just do a u-turn in the middle of New York traffic we were at the location for the premiere in just under 5 minutes, we had a nice walk in side and found our seats and we were good to go.
Here is all of us dolled up after watching the War Horse Movie Premiere. Look for the review on the movie coming soon!
Me all dressed up at the War Horse Movie Premier
We were not allowed to bring our cameras into the movie so I am sharing the photos that Disney sent me to share with you:) And because I was already inside when many people were walking the red carpet Disney was also awesome to share their photos of the cast of the movie with me so I can share them with you:)
We had FANTASTIC seats, we were less then 10 feet away from the stage that they all walked across and Steven Spielberg spoke on it was amazing!
We got to attend the party after the movie premiere which was a ton of fun, had great food and got to see quite a few Hollywood stars as well.
Now I said there was an Amazing blogger race, and I am saddened I did not get to see it personally (but thankful that I did not have to run it in 6 inch heels) The other 14 bloggers who were in the first shuttle were not as lucky as those of us who were in the van that was late, 13 of them ended up having to get out of the van and run through the streets of New York to get there on time.Check out their stories from that night, now they did not find it as amusing as you will reading it while it happened but they are all looking back on it as a great memory of their run through New York City.
Sunday during the I also went on a trip around the City which will be posted in another post including a visit to the location of the Twin Towers.
A Huge thanks to Disney for giving me the opportunity to go on this trip. All expenses were covered by Disney but all opinions are my own.
