Save Money Eating Out by Ditching Eating out to save $100 a year!
Eating out is a costly thing, cutting out eating out can cut waaayyy more then $100 in a year. You do not have to totally give up dining out but cutting back on your take out and dining out is an easy way to save over $100 in a year.
You can use pinterest and find TONS of amazing recipes to make at home that will be a LOT cheaper then going out to eat. There are so many copycat recipes out there for all the restaurants, like this Olive Garden Alfredo Recipe, that you can have your favorite meals at home that you make yourself.
There are some tips to saving when you are dining out as well, because let’s face it as moms there are times that we NEED to use take out or dining out to get a break from cooking!
How to Save Money When Eating Out
Buy Discounted gift cards! I always grab discounted gift cards from Raise.com. You can save as much as 20% off the price of a gift card. Ebay is also a great place to watch for discounted gift cards.
Make sure you are signed up for the e-mail list for your favorite places to eat out at. They tend to send coupons that will help you save a lot of money.
Dine out on “Kids eat FREE” Nights. Many places have specific nights each week where kids will eat FREE if you purchase an adult meal.
Go early! Especially for things like Chinese takeout, many places have lunch specials, so if you are wanting to eat dinner out, order it during the lunch specials and then reheat it at dinner time. Also if you are planning to go out for a special occasion make it a lunch date instead of a dinner date. Lunchtime prices are cheap then dinner time!
