After having 3 children, hubby and I have learned many things by trial and error(and there are many things we did with our first that we definitely learned from lol) We were young when we had our oldest daughter and the whole having a baby was not only new but unexpected. Being young new parents we never thought that maybe those baby books out there could help us with challenges that we were facing as new parents. If I could go back in time, I would have looked for books that would have given us some insight to what was to come and after reading Superbaby:12 Ways to Give Your Baby A Head Start in the First Three Years,  by Dr. Jenn Berman, this would have been the perfect book for us. Even now with 3 little ones running around our house, this book has some very helpful tips that can improve things in our household.

I love all the tips through out the book, my favorite ones are about organization, I am not the most organized person and at times I do get overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done on a daily basis.

A new experience that we are having with our littlest one is that she is breastfeed, our older children were formula feed and so the transition to bottle to cup was fairly easy, where as with breastfeeding I had concerns about having supply issues if I gave her a sippy cup with some water in it. She still at 10 months old has only had a sippy cup a few times because she would rather nurse then have a sippy cup of water. This book has many tips on feeding and the transition from breast to solids and tells you what you can expect at certain ages. Being a new experience with breastfeeding this book has helped us with the differences between a breastfeed baby and a formula fed baby.

MY LATEST VIDEOS

This book does not stop at just the infant years there are also tips about finding the right preschool for your child and how to deal with the changes that come from your child going to preschool and not being home all the time.

I enjoyed reading this book, I learned more then I thought I would have after having 3 kids, from reading this book. I would recommend this book to new parents, there is a lot of helpful information in it.

You can purchase this book at Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble and it is currently on sale for 13.72 instead of the list price of 24.95 at both retailers.
