The Bronx Zoo is adding a fun new twist to the zoo from July 7-September 7, Lego Animals! Yes you read that right there will be animal sculptures that are made solely out of Legos! I showed my kids the e-mail I got about this and they are super excited to go (Needless to say we have a Bronz Zoo trip planned in the next few weeks 🙂 ) My kids loved our visit to the Bronx Zoo back in May and are very ready for another trip back.
Check out how AWESOME this Lego sculpture of the Tiger looks and the one below of the Zebra!! There are many more at the zoo to including a mother and child gorilla, fish and a coral reef, a zebra and others (which I won’t give them all away 🙂 )
There are tons of things that you can do at the Bronx Zoo with your kids with the new Lego Exhibit.
LEGO® Construction Zone
Children and families can create their own sculptures of animals and help complete a LEGO mystery mural.
LEGO® Master Builders
Professionals will work with visitors on building LEGO wildlife sculptures.
Workshops with the Museum for African Art
Participants can enjoy African arts and crafts like making animal prints
Lego Family Challenge
Families can take the challenge and see how long it takes them to build their favorite animal out of legos.
