Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine bananas, oil, egg.
In another large bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder.
Add the dry mixture to the banana mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Scoop the batter into greased or lined muffin tins.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees F. Until a toothpick comes out clean when placed in the middle.
Cool for 5 minutes in the muffin tin and remove to cool on a cooling rack for 15-20 minutes.
