Candy Melt Note: If you do not want to buy all the different color meltsyou can just buy the
white and the candy coloring.
Instructions
Remove the wrapping from the mini Snickers. With the pop sticks, push them into the Snickers. Be sure not to push them all the way through. Get a small size microwavable dish, melt about ½ cup white candy melts according to the microwave directions on the bag. While you could just do a dip coat, I found you get a smoother surface by using the back of a spoon of the flat side of a butter knife to smooth it over the Snickers like you are frosting it. Put a light coat on all sides. Place them upright in a glass, to harden. After they are hard to the touch (usually about 5-10 min.), give them a second coat just like the first. By coating them again you will cover any left behind brown spots. Place them back in the glass and allow to dry again.
In a different dish, melt 2 to 3 chips of the pink. Using a toothpick paint a square at the bottom center of the flattest side of the candy. Now melt a few chips of the brown. If you don't have brown you could also use milk chocolate here. Grab another toothpick to paint on the brown. Do a line down each side of the pink. Now also with the brown do a hollow center rectangle all the way across the candy connecting across the top of the pink nose. Then in the center of that hollow rectangle do a brown square just above the pink one.
Now melt a few chips of the black and make a small square on the inside ends of the rectangle. Be sure to leave a white gap between the black and the brown square in the center.
