Cheesy Sausage and Pepper Pasta

  • 1 box pasta you can use which ever type you have on hand we used penne
  • 8 ounces of mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 green pepper diced
  • 1.5 pounds italian sausage cut into bite sized pieces


  • Cook pasta for 12 minutes then drain and put to the side
  • In a deep skillet cook the sausage for 10 minutes
  • add peppers and diced tomatoes and cook till sausage is finished cooking
  • add ricotta and mozzarella cheese and mix until smooth with the sausage and pepper mixture
  • pour mixture into pot of pasta and mix well
