moist banana bread
This super moist banana bread is the perfect recipe to use up those over ripe bananas sitting on the counter! This easy banana bread recipe is perfect for anytime you are wanting banana bread.

- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mashed banana 2 to 3 medium ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup room temperature butter
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 eggs
Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
Peel the ripe bananas and place them in a bowl, discard the deep. Then using a potato masher or a fork mash the bananas.
In a large mixing bowl combine the sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add mashed bananas.
Mix in the butter and the milk and beat together for about 2 minutes. You can use a stand mixer or a hand mixer.
Add in the eggs and the flour until well blended.
Pour batter into a greased bread loaf pan.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 55 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack and then remove from pan and finish cooling on the wire rack.
