Christmas Tree Oreos
Christmas Tree Oreos are a simple Christmas cookie that looks beautiful on your cookie dessert tray! Using a mint Oreo cookie or your favorite Oreo cookie flavor you can make these simple, yet beautiful Christmas Oreos.
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
Melt your white chocolate over a double boiler and pour into a shallow bowl.
Dip Oreo 1/3 of the way into the melted white chocolate. This is the snow base of the cookie.
Set the dipped Oreo one of the prepared cookie sheets, allow the melted chocolate to set and cool.
While the white chocolate is hardening on the Oreos melt your green chocolate over a double boiler.
Pour your melted green chocolate into a piping bag. Cut a hole at the bottom about the size of a pin tip.
Make a Christmas tree shape by zig-zagging the chocolate back and forth starting out thin on the top than making it fatter towards the bottom on top of each Oreo cookie.
Sprinkle with the nonpareils to be ornaments on each Christmas tree.
Using the decorating tweezers, place a brown sprinkle for the trunk and top the tree with one star sprinkle.
Allow the chocolate to set completely before removing the Oreo cookies from the baking sheets.
