  • Set the crockpot to desired cook settings.
  • Rinse the apples well. If you want skinless applesauce remove the skin with a peeler. Then cut the apples into quarters and remove the seeds and stems.
  • Spray the crockpot with nonstick spray.
  • Put all of the cut apples into the crock pot. Then add the water and the cinnamon to the crockpot.
  • Cover and let cook. Stir on the hour mark if you would like to, or wait until it is done cooking.
  • Once the apples are soft, use a potato masher and mash the apples to your desired chunkiness.
