With only 3 ingredients this homemade crockpot applesauce is simple to make and a great way to use up any extra apples you have laying around the kitchen!
Rinse the apples well. If you want skinless applesauce remove the skin with a peeler. Then cut the apples into quarters and remove the seeds and stems.
Spray the crockpot with nonstick spray.
Put all of the cut apples into the crock pot. Then add the water and the cinnamon to the crockpot.
Cover and let cook. Stir on the hour mark if you would like to, or wait until it is done cooking.
Once the apples are soft, use a potato masher and mash the apples to your desired chunkiness.
