Chocolate Chip Cupcakes with Cookie Dough Frosting Recipe
This amazing Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frosting Recipe is perfect with homemade cupcakes. You can eat the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Frosting itself too as it is egg free!
- 3/4 cup butter softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Combine the butter, sugar and brown sugar together in the bowl of your mixer. Cream them together on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
Add in the milk and vanilla until combined.
Turn the speed down to low and carefully add in the flour mixture just until it’s combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
With a 1/4 cup scoop, scoop the dough into the top of each cupcake.
