Pepperoni Pizza Topping Ingredients

  • 2 cups pizza sauce
  • 4 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/4 fresh basil

How to Make homemade pizza crust

  • Pour the water into the bowl of your mixer. Sprinkle the yeast on top of the water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  • Add in the remainder of the ingredients. Place it on your mixer with a dough hook. Mix on low speed until the dough starts to form. Gradually turn the speed to medium until a ball forms.
  • If the dough is to sticky you can add a pinch more flour. If the dough is to dry you can add a little bit more water. Knead in the mixer for 10 minutes on medium speed.
  • Remove the dough from the mixer and divide it in half.
  • Place on a flour surface. Cover with a damp towel or your mixing bowl and let it rise for an hour.
  • Separate the dough into 2 balls of dough.

How to Make Homemade Pizza Sauce

  • In a bowl mix the tomato paste, water, olive oil, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes is using them.
  • Mix all ingredients with a whisk until they are all mixd well. Set aside until pizza crust is done.

How to Make homemade pepperoni pizza

  • Preheat the oven to 500F and then Roll the dough out to the desired thickness and form a circle with the pizza crust.
  • Sprinkle a small amount of cornmeal onto your pizza stone or pan. Prebake the pizza crust in a 500 degree oven for 2 minutes.
  • Flip the dough over and top with pizza sauce, then mozzarella cheese, followed by the pepperoni.
  • bake for 8 - 12 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
  • Sprinkle each pizza with the basil and serve.
