Ingredients

  • 1 pound asparagus roughly 18 spears
  • 3 ounces slices capocollo 6 slices
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic reduction

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Trim the woody ends off the asparagus.
  • Gather three spears of asparagus together and wrap a slice of capocollo around the middle of each bundle of asparagus.
  • Drizzle the oil over the asparagus. Season the asparagus with the salt and pepper.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the asparagus is tender.
  • Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the bundles.
