Asian Cucumber Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 English cucumber
  • 3 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flake

Instructions

  • Wash and slice the english cucumber into thin cucumber slices and set the cucumber slices to the side.
  • In a medium size bowl mix the rice wine vinegar, sugar, toasted sesame seeds, salt and red pepper flakes.
  • Mix everything together well so all of the ingredients are mixed well.
  • Once mixed, add the cucumber slices to the bowl and stir well so all of the cucumber slices are well coated.
  • If serving soon, place the bowl in the fridge and store for 1 hour. If you are going to serve the following day pour all of the cucumber salad ingredients into a container with an air tight lid on tightly.
