How to Freeze Blueberries

Freezing blueberries is super easy to do! If you find yourself with a lot of blueberries and need to freeze them just follow these easy steps for how to freeze blueberries.

  • nonstick spray
  • baking sheet.
  • Freezer bags

Ingredients

  • Blueberries

Instructions

  • Rinse blueberries and remove any blueberry stems.
  • Spray non stick spray on baking sheet.
  • Place blueberries on the baking tray in a single layer. You may need more than one baking sheet depending on how many blueberries you have to freeze.
  • Put baking sheet into freezer for 3 hours.
  • Once blueberries are frozen solid remove baking sheet from the freezer.
  • Using a spatula remove the blueberries off baking sheet and put into a freezer bag.
  • Close the freezer bag and squeeze the air out of the bag. Put the bag of blueberries back in the freezer and use as needed.
