Milk Chocolate Covered Strawberries
- 1 pound Strawberries 15-20 strawberries depending on the size
- 8 ounces quality milk chocolate
- 3 ounces quality white chocolate optional
Thoroughly wash and dry your strawberries. Line a baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper and set aside.
Using a double boiler melt the chocolate.
Once the milk chocolate is melted line up your supplies in order of strawberries, bowl of melted chocolate and then baking sheet.
Dip the strawberry into the melted milk chocolate.
Dip each strawberry one at a time in the melted milk chocolate and then after dipping carefully place each strawberry on the tray with enough space that they will not touch.
If adding white chocolate drizzle, allow the milk chocolate to set and then melt the white chocolate. Using a fork or spoon drizzle the white chocolate on top of the milk chocolate.
Allow 10 minutes or so for the chocolate to harden fully. Enjoy right away or store in an airtight container.
