Love hardboiled eggs but hate having to monitor them when you are boiling them on the stove? I have the best solution for you, making hard boiled eggs in the oven! When using the oven baked method they come out perfect every time. There is no way to mess them up and they are the easiest way to make them! All you need is eggs and a muffin tin and then you bake them in the oven!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 12 eggs
  • 2 cup water
  • 2 cup ice

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325. Place the eggs into a muffin pan. If there are any empty spaces not filled with an egg fill it halfway with water.
  • Place them in the oven on the oven rack for 30 minutes.
  • Fill a large bowl with water and ice to make an ice bath.
  • After removing the eggs from the oven, using an oven mitt or a pair of tongs, add the cooked eggs to the ice bath. Let the eggs sit in the ice bath for at least 5 minutes before removing.
  • Remove the eggs from the ice bath and peel to eat or store in the fridge with the shell on them.
