Magic Cookie Bars

These magic cookie bars are so easy to make, and they taste absolutely amazing. This easy to make dessert is perfect for a potluck dinner or any time you are wanting an easy to make amazing dessert. Cookie bars are a simple classic dessert that everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cup shredded coconut
  • 14 ounces canned sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  • Spray a 9x13 baking dish includinig the sides of pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Melt the butter in a microwave-safe dish.
  • In a food processor add the graham crackers to make graham cracker crumbs.
  • In a medium bowl add the graham cracker crumbs and the melted butter and combine graham crumbs with the butter well to form the crust.
  • Pour the graham cracker and butter mixture into a baking dish and press the graham cracker crumb mixture into the bottom of the pan.
  • Sprinkle the walnuts over top of the graham cracker crust.
  • Next, sprinkle the chocolate chips and any other ingredients that you want to except for the shredded coconut.
  • Then pour the sweetened condensed milk over the entire dish.
  • Top with the shredded coconut.
  • Bake in the oven for 25 minutes and the edges are golden brown.
  • Allow to cool completely before cutting. You will want to cut these bars into 12 -24 squares.
