It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Yoshi, he is my absolute fav character from the Nintendo characters and I am attempting to convert my kids to follow in my footsteps in being a Yoshi fan and I am doing it one step at a time. The first step was getting them to play any game possible that I can so when the Yoshi’s New Island game came out it was a must have in my house, thankfully Nintendo contacted me about it and we got the chance to review it and I am able to share about its awesomeness with you! Also if you are a Yoshi fan the MUST HAVE item is the Limited Edition Yoshi 3DSXL
Of course I put the kids to work on this one, because while I am the fan in our house in most houses it will be the kiddos who are playing the game 😉
What McKenzie (age 9) thinks about the Yoshi’s New Island game:
The new game is really cool because there are all different levels to play and you can be a variety of different Yoshis to pick from and be in the game. In the begining of the game there is an awesome video and there is a wizard named Shadow who came and Luigi and Mario are babies and the wizard takes baby Luigi and Mario but Mario falls from his grasp and lands in the Yoshi land. What you have to do in the game is play the different Yoshis and you have Mario with you in your hands and while playing the game you have to go and find Luigi and the wizard and save Luigi. My favorite part of the game is playing all the different characters and trying out all the different levels in the game. A girl my age would like this game because its not a boy game its for both girls and boys.
What Logan (age 7) thinks about the Yoshi’s New Island game:
What I think about Yoshi is that it is cool because you get to play with different Yoshi characters and in different worlds. I also like it because you can also shoot your tongue out and eat the big guys. You also have a big egg to defend yourself with. You can also use eggs to shoot at the bean in one of the levels. My favorite thing about the game is that there are different Yoshi and I like the blue and the green ones. A boy my age would like this game because you get to smash the bad guys in the game.
