Sausage Apple Stuffing

Ingredients

– 14 ounce bag of Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned Stuffing – 1/2 cup salted butter – 2 Cups Apple Cider – 1 large apple chopped – 12 ounces maple breakfast sausage links cooked and sliced – 2 stalks Celery – 1 large Onion – 1/2 tablespoons Poultry Seasoning

Cook the sausage links, you can heat them in the microwave or cook theme according to the package on the stove. Once cooked chop into pieces and set aside. Wash and chop the apple and set it aside. Over medium heat in a stockpot, melt the butter. Once the butter is melted, turn the burner heat to low and add the dry stuffing mix and apple cider. Mix until the stuffing has absorbed the liquid and all of it is well moistened.

Add the chopped apple chopped celery, chopped onion, cooked sausage and poultry seasoning and mix well.

Bake in a casserole dish at 350°F for 15-20 minutes.
