In a large saute pan, over medium high heat add the oil, ground meat, onion and garlic. Break up the meat with a wooden spoon and cook until browned. Drain the meat from any extra oil by place on a plate with paper towels. Place the meat back into the pan. Mix in the tomato sauce, sugar, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened, about 3 to 5 minutes. Serve the mixture on the buns with lots of napkins.
