  • If you are going to use homemade pumpkin puree and homemade pie crust make those things ahead of time as well (just don't bake it before putting the pie filling in!)
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a small bowl mix cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice and salt together with a whisk and set aside.
  • In a large bowl whisk the eggs. Once the eggs are whisked add in the pumpkin puree and mix well.
  • Next add in the heavy cream and mix well.
  • Then add in the maple syrup and mix well.
  • Lastly add in the cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice and salt mixture and mix well.
  • Spray your pie dish with non stick cooking spray. Place the pie crust into the dish.
  • Then carefully pour the pie mixture into the pie crust.
  • Bake your pie at 350 degrees for 60-70 minutes. You will know it is done when it passes the jiggle test and/or your can use the knife test. Just stab the center of the pie with a knife and it will come out clean if the pie is finished baking.
  • Place the pie on a cooling rack for 2 hours to cool and set.
