  • Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
  • Line a sheet pan with foil or parchment paper.
  • Wash the sweet potatoes well and make sure you have gotten off any dirt or debris. You can use a veggie brush to get them clean if you want to.
  • Take a fork and pierce the skin of the potato 8-10 times, don't skip this step or you will end up with a large mess in the oven.
  • Place the potatoes on the sheet pan and bake for 45-55 minutes or until a fork can go in easily to the flesh.
  • Remove from the oven when done baking, allow to cool for 5 minutes and then serve as desired.
