Peppermint Bark Rice Krispie Treats

  • In a large pot melt your butter on medium-low heat. Once the butter is melted add in the marshmallows and stir until they are melted, remove from heat.
  • Gently stir in your Rice Krispies until they are well combined.
  • Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with the cooking spray and press the Rice Krispie mixture into the pan. Allow the Rice Krispies to cool.
  • Cut your treats into 2 x 2 squares.
  • Melt your milk or dark chocolate over a double boiler. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Dip the bottom of each rice crispy treat into the chocolate and place them onto the sheet pan.
  • Melt your white chocolate over your double boiler. Place the chocolate into a ziptop bag and cut a small part of the bottom tip-off. Pipe the chocolate over the tops of each treat in a striped pattern.
  • Melt your red chocolate over your double boiler. Place the chocolate into a ziptop bag and cut a small part of the bottom tip-off. Pipe the chocolate over the tops of each treat in a striped pattern.
  • Place the sheet pan into the fridge for 10 minutes until the chocolate is set.
