  • Preheat the grill to medium heat. Making sure the grill grates are clean.
  • In a small bowl mix together all the ingredients for the blacking season together.
  • Take some paper towels and pat the tuna steaks dry on both sides.
  • Rub the blacking season onto both sides of a raw tuna steak. Do this for each tuna steak you have. Do not dip the steaks into the seasoning, you want to be able to store any extra that you have left over to use later.
  • Store any extra seasoning in an airtight container.
  • Heat the grill to 350°F.
  • Place steaks on the grill for 1-2 minutes per side being careful not to overcook the tuna.
  • Drizzle the lemon juice or lime juice over the tuna and serve.
