Bacon Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 3 strips of cooked bacon
  • 2 slices of provolone cheese
  • 2 slices of Colby Jack or Pepper Jack cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon mayonnaise

Instructions

  • Cook the raw bacon using your preferred method and then place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain the bacon grease if needed.
  • Divide the mayo and spread onto one side of each slice of bread.
  • Then place one piece of the bread mayonnaise side down on the skillet.
  • Add the cheese and the bacon slices to the non mayoside of the bread in the pan.
  • Place the second piece of bread non-mayo side down on top of the sandwich.
  • Turn the skillet heat up to medium heat and cook for 3-4 minutes until that first side is golden brown.
  • Use a spatula and flip the sandwich over and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the second side is golden brown and the cheese melts all the way.
